Who knew? The Beecher sisters wrote a very opinionated book together ? ? The Beecher sisters pretty much cover all aspects of proper manners ala 1869 here. Fascinating they were both very anti-feminist and quite verbally so. They (and the publisher) also do a fantastic job of promoting the works of their brother Henry Ward Beecher in this book. Quite the distinctive book indeed ? a first edition by the Beecher girls ? a wonderful sector of Captured Tyme!
