#41 (August 1993) "Hearts and Armor!" Guest-starring War Machine. Story by Len Kaminski. Art by Shawn McManus and Jeff Albrecht. The surface world once again impedes on the territory of the undersea kingdom of Atlantis. But when the Sub-Mariner goes to confront this affront the armored hero War Machine shows up and the obligatory super-hero battle ensues. Cover price $1.25.
#48 (March 1994) Starblast Crossover: Part 9 of 12 - "Into the Black Abyss!" Guest-starring the Fantastic Four, Tiger Shark, and Dr. Walter Newell (Stingray). Story by Glenn Herdling. Art and cover by Geof Isherwood. Story continued from Fantastic Four (1961-1996 1st Series) #385. Can the Sub-Mariner stop a full scale alien invasion? Maybe if he can survive the monstrous strength of the Thing whose mind is under the control of the enemy. Story concludes in Fantastic Four (1961-1996 1st Series) #386. Cover price $1.25.
#54 (September 1994) The Son of Namor Saga: Part 1 of 4. Guest-starring Stingray. Tiger Shark cameo. Story by Glenn Herdling. Art and cover by Geof Isherwood. The sinister Llyra, the guise of Sue Richards, tricked the Sub-Mariner into conceiving a child with her (see Namor #50). Using the super-science of the undersea wizard, Namor's son is aged to adulthood. Now, Llyra and Llyron, son of Namor, go to Atlantis to take their rightful place on the throne of Atlantis. Cover price $1.50.
