TOURING...MARY MERRITT'S DOLL MUSEUM
Second Edition, Copyright 1972, Published by Mary Merritt, text by Ann Kilborn Cole
6" x 9", Staple bound, 44 page illustrated booklet from Mary Merritt's Doll Museum that was closed on December 30, 2005. The museum was known for its incomparable archive of 18th to 20th-century dolls, as well as a trove of early European and American toys. On Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, Noel Barrett in association with Andy Ourant, auctioned the spectacular museum collection that was assembled over several decades by the museum?s co-founders, the late Mary and Bob Merritt Sr.
The booklet is complete and in FINE or better condition with some overall light wear.
