Item description
Vintage 8x 10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the 1940s drama/romance, THE RAZOR'S EDGE, released in 1946 by 20th Century-Fox and directed by Edmund Goulding. Based upon the novel by W. Somerset Maugham, an adventuresome young man goes off to find himself and loses his socialite fiancée in the process. But when he returns 10 years later, she will stop at nothing to get him back, even though she is already married.
The image depicts Clifton Webb (as Elliott Templeton) as he rides in the backseat of an elegant automobile. This photograph was used for publication in a Los Angeles newspaper for the film's premiere telecast on television in Los Angeles and features a corresponding paper snipe affixed to the verso. It is in near-fine condition as shown.
