1966 Woman's Day Encyclopedia of Cookery - Volume 1 - Abalone to Bean Sprouts - Fawcett Publications. This hardcover volume features an American Cookery section where you will find favorite and specialty recipes from our fifty states. There is also an Austrian Cookery section and a Barbecue Cookery section. There are 801 recipes, 100 menus, a complete recipe index and a general information page. There are beautiful color photographs throughout the book along with colorful illustrations. This 8-1/2 x 11 cookbook is in good used condition. There are no ripped or missing pages and no writing on any of the pages. There is, however, foxing on some of the pages due to age and handling but nothing objectionable. The binding is tight and secure but has darkened over the years. The recipes are all very legible. A great vintage cookbook for your kitchen library! Smoke-free and pet-free environment.
