Rare variation of the Atari 2600 TV games console. This is a truly legendary TV game console. The box says that it comes with 10001 games. I don't think there are that many games since some of them repeat after a while, but there sure are a lot. Let's face it, the games weren't all that great but this really is a piece of history. And very rare nowadays to say the least. It is also Atari 2600 compatible so you can use your old Atari 2600 cartridges if you have them. The console is operational and the joysticks are working. All those that played with this console can remember that the joysticks are quite crude and often got broken but then again, this is only for the nostalgic collector... I'm sure we all have a quick-shot joystick somewhere around the house that can be used with the console and these old joysticks can be saved for display. All items look good for their age. The box is in OK condition, shows some damage and has a few repairs on corners, missing the flaps on the top cover which go inside the box walls to close the lid firmly, i.e. the lid opnes freely. The colours on the box are good. It is designed for EU power system (AC 220V) so make sure you have an adapter handy if you have different grid conditions (e.g., if you have 110V grid). It is a PAL signal console so make sure your TV or PC capture card can decode that. LOSS OF ITEM DURING SHIPPING: In case a tracked item does get lost, buyer is entitled to a full refund. Refund will be issued after seller receives reimburse for damages from the postal services carrier. This can take up to a month and a half from the moment the buyer states the item has not yet been delivered. I advise to be patient should such a situation occur. The reason behind this long wait is the following. After I start the search procedure, the postal service carriers may find the item and deliver it. In case I would refund the money immediately upon buyer?s complaint, then I would be at a loss since I would not get the package back to me, and I would have no money any more. ORDER CANCELLATION: A buyer may cancel his/her order for any reason within a day since payment being cleared by PayPal. Buyers may inquire about any details of the item, including colour, scratches, tears, and general state of the item beforehand. It is sometimes impossible to capture such minor details since I have at my disposal only a standard off-the-shelf digital camera and not professional photographic equipment.
