Vintage 8 x 10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from he 1930s acting-themed comedy/drama, STAGE DOOR, released in 1937 by RKO Radio Pictures and directed by Gregory La Cava. Based upon the play by Edna Ferber, it chronicles the ambitions, dreams, and disappointments of aspiring actresses who all live in the same boarding house.
The image depicts actress Judith Canfield (Lucille Ball) on the arm of Mr. Milbanks (Jack Carson) while Carmichael (Pierre Watkin) escorts a skeptic Jean Maitland (Ginger Rogers). Printed for a later release of the film, it is in fine+ condition as shown.
