Item description
This Dolphin can be hung in the window, or stand on it's own as a figurine. It was carved by hand from balsa wood by Sally Moreno, a native artisan. The hanger is chambira palm fiber The sale of these ornaments supports Amazon Ecology, forest conservation and helps local communities. This fair trade bird was made in the village of Iquitos in the Amazon Rainforest. It is about 3" tall, 3" wide, and 4.5" long.
This fair-trade Amazon river dolphin is one of four types of freshwater river dolphins in the world!
