High and Fast is the third in a series about Dario D’Angelo—who went for Naval Aviator Wings because they were Girl Magnets. In this novel he is flying out of United States Naval Air Station Capodichino, in Naples, Italy. In his assignment there, he serves with old acquaintances and becomes friends with local Italians. Faced with personal tragedy, he is driven by the “vendetta” standard of his Italian background instilled in him by his father, which is quite contrary to Naval Regulations. The book ends with closure.
