(2) Two Folder-Style Antique Cabinet Card Photographs. Depicting J. Kenneth Lincoln, Sr. of Wiscasset, Maine. Photo by Webber studio of Brunswick, Maine. Measures approximately 5.5 x 8.25 including mount. Condition: These are original photographs, not a copy or reproduction. The images are in excellent condition. The folder cover of one photo is absent and has ragged mount edges. The other folder is intact and in very good condition. Comments: We have additional photos from the Lincoln family estate which are listed and sold separately. They include more photos of J. Kenneth Lincoln, Sr.; his brother George Lincoln, Jr.; their sister Ruby Lincoln Stevens and her daughter Ruth Lincoln Stevens; and Emmy Lincoln whose family connection is not established. Obituary of J. Kenneth Lincoln, Sr. His obituary from the Richmond, Maine newspaper dated 2006: J. Kenneth Lincoln Sr., 83, of Brunswick Road died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006, at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born in Wiscasset on Sept. 10, 1922, a son of George S. II and Josephine T. (Jones) Lincoln. He attended Wiscasset schools and graduated from Wiscasset Academy. He was employed at Bath Iron Works as a pipefitter and entered the Army serving as a staff sergeant during World War II. He was employed at Lincoln's Motor Express with his dad in Wiscasset; and from 1949 to1956, he was a partner with KenRo Chevrolet Dealership in Damariscotta. He was then employed with Mobil Oil Co., from 1956 to 1962, and the U.S. Postal Service as a rural route carrier, retiring in 1988 after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Owl's Head Transportation Museum, the American Legion in Wiscasset, the Order of the Odd Fellows in Round Pond, the Tuesday Club and the Wiscasset School Board, and a reservist for Maine State Police. He was survived by his wife, Vera Dodge Lincoln, of Richmond; two sons, J. Kenneth Lincoln Jr. and his wife, Kathleen, of Newcastle, and George S. Lincoln III and his wife, Patti, of Camden; one daughter, Emelyn L. Kappler and her husband, Harry, of Barter's Island; one stepson, Stephen D. Reed, of Wiscasset; his former wife, Frederica R. Lincoln, of Wiscasset; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
