Nursing School Pin - Medical Assistant with and similar items

This Nursing School Pin reads "Medical Assistant" and it features Red, White Blue Enamel on a round Gold pin. The gold appears to be a plating over a base metal. My eyes can't read what is on the back, but it looks like "Assist" is at least part of the wording with the maker mark. It does show 1974 on the back pretty clearly. The pin and latch works well. The design shows the two snakes or serpents twisting around a central pole that is topped with angel wings. This is the design that you would find most often on medical gear, uniforms, and equipment.
