The IFS-3 occupies only 1 U of headend rack space and is deployed in systems where dual l.F. substitution or composite is required. The I.F. signals are distributed to the modulators by way of Trilithics EASy I.F. Distribution System. The IFS-3 accepts baseband video and audio inputs from the Trilithic EASyPLUS series and provides individually accessible 4.5 MHz audio subcarrier, video I.F. at 45.75 MHz and audio I.F. at 41.25 MHz signal outputs. The I.F. signal is appropriate for injection into the video I.F. or audio I.F. inputs of any dual I.F. loop NTSC modulator. Includes composite I.F.
