For example, if you write the word “balloon,” you will be given the option to choose between different varieties such as a hot air balloon or toy balloon. Scribblenauts has 220 levels that span over 10 theme areas, all which are ranked on a four-star rating based on difficulty. There are two types of levels: puzzle and action levels. Puzzle levels involve real-life situations (such as saving a trapped character) and Starites are awarded upon determining the solution to complete the puzzle and move forward. Action levels are great for fans of side-scrolling platforms where you lead Max through obstacles in order to reach the end and move on to the next level, collecting Starites along the way. Free play can also be unlocked once a level is completed where the player can achieve a gold star for completing the level three consecutive times with no repeat objects.
