Staffordshire Liberty Blue dinnerware was created as a promotional item for the Benjamin Franklin Savings & Loan which was founded in 1925.  They wanted to celebrate their 50th anniversity and to tie in with the 1776-1976 bicentennial celebration.  The dinnerware was made by Enoch Wedgwood in the Staffordshire district of England, in the tradition of the 19th century Staffordshire ironstone china.  Each piece of the set depicts a different historic colonial scene, with a wildflower border.  The bank discontinued this promotion at the end of 1976.  This listing is for one set of Liberty Blue Salt & Pepper Shakers which depict the "Ride of Paul Revere".  They are 3" tall & 2" in diameter.  Both are in excellent condition-no chips, cracks or scratches.  Both plastic stoppers are clean and hold tight.  They don't show much, if any use.  Dishwasher safe. All my items are sanitary and come from my clean, smoke free home.
