Disc has a couple of very light short scuffs with a store branded donut sticker in the center of the label side. Pre-viewed for quality and played great on my Magnavox upconvert dvd player. Case cover is slightly faded with a small sticker shadow on the lower right corner.

Full screen version is perfect for old school TVs as the image will fill your square screen. All formats are now Out Of Print (OOP) and no longer being manufactured.

Cancel your picnic plans to see this grand version of Carl Stephenson's classic story, 'Leiningen vs. the Ants'. It's slow going at first--what with all those smoochy embraces between mail-order bride Eleanor Parker and plantation owner Charlton Heston--until the killer ants mobilize and march on the plantation's crops.

Those little ravenous carnivores will scare the hell out of you as men are eaten alive. The close-ups of the ants was some pretty good stop-motion FX for the time. George Pal ('War of the Worlds', 'Time Machine') was the producer and award winning animator in his own right.
