Hardback in original boards stamped in gold on the cover and spine. Boards with moderate wear to edges, corners and upper and lower spine ends and soiling (see photos). Bottom distal corners of boards slightly bumped. Spine slant to the volume as shown.

Decorated floral on cream endpapers with hinge on the front endpaper starting to crack in a couple of places. Rubber name stamp on front free endpaper, verso with a name written in ink. Upper right of title page is written in pencil: ‘1st Edition Author’s Third Book’

Evidence of half title page being neatly removed. Evidence of erasure on title page.

This is the author’s third book and very hard to come by in first edition.

Interior pages are very good.
