This is a Pair of VINTAGE, Hand Crafted “Holly Hobbie Little Things Wood Framed 3 Dimensional Art Print Shadow Boxes - Carrie Playing With Her Raggedy Ann Doll and Carrie Mixing A Bowl Of Food For Her Cat” handmade by CM in the early-1970s. My neighbor's mother purchased these pieces of Folk Art in 1971 and displayed them on a wall in her den until 2006 when they were packed away. Recently rediscovered, they have been safely and securely stored for over 10 years. Both are in EXCELLENT Condition with NO rips, tears, marks, stains, odors, chips, cracks or other damage; they come from a smoke-free, pet-free home. With a height of approximately 4 1/2 inches, a depth of approximately 1 1/4th inches and a width of approximately 3 1/4th inches, they both have metal hangers attached to the top; they are both marked “Little Things by CM".

Solid wood framed Shadow Boxes with glass front inserts, the backs are old newspaper news paper print. EXCEPTIONALLY well crafted with the inside pictures having a 3 dimensional quality, the metal bracket rings on the top allow you to easily display these pieces on any wall. The rustic wood frames have a FANTASTIC graining that enhances the VIVID Antiqued color Holly Hobbie folk art designs encased inside the diorama. The design is HANDSOME and highly-detailed, an ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC example of 1970s Kitschy Folk Art. Eye-pleasing pieces, they can be used to decorate a nursery or child’s room, your den or study, as well as being used in a kitchen or breakfast room area! With a CHARM that evokes the simple times of days gone by, these pieces show a primitive, yet highly sophisticated craftsmanship and style. Featuring the ADORABLE cat-loving, rag dress-wearing little girl in a giant bonnet with a rustic New England style of a bygone era known as Holly Hobbie, these 3D Paper Art wall hanging shadow boxes are also PERFECT for use as shelf, ledge or mantel accents.
