Vintage original 11x14 in. US lobby card #7 from the classic 1950's animated fantasy, 1001 ARABIAN NIGHTS, released in 1959 by Columbia Pictures and directed by Jack Kinney, in which Mr. Magoo's ancestor, Abdul Aziz Magoo, is the uncle of Aladdin, who falls in love with a princess. The cast includes the voices of Jim Backus, Kathryn Grant, Dwayne Hickman, Hans Conreid, Herschel Bernardi, Alan Reed, Daws Butler, and the Clark Sisters.
1001 Arabian Nights marked Mister Magoo's first feature-length animated film. The image features Aladdin reacting to the billowing smoke from the lamp after he has rubbed it. The border artwork near the title and credits depicts an image of Mister Magoo's ancestor, Abdul Aziz Magoo playing an ornate wind instrument. It is unrestored in fine- condition with a Canadian censor stamp in the background and signs of wear on the top right corner and above the bricks in the right corner. There are also light signs of random wear along the top edge and on the bottom right corner. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws and the color tints are fresh and vibrant without any signs of fading.
