Brand new factory sealed vhs tape is full screen so it is perfect for that old square TV as the image will fill your screen. The gold foil band at the top of the box doesn't photograph too well due to it's brilliance. The shrinkwrap has tiny vent holes from the factory starting at the top over the 7, his eye, his tie, etc. and are spaced evenly.
The third James Bond hit features Gert Frobe as the supervillain GOLDFINGER who drives a solid-gold Rolls Royce and plans to rob Fort Knox, then destroy it with an atom bomb, thus upsetting the global economy and multiplying the value of his own considerable holdings.
007 (Sean Connery) arrives in his gimmick-laden Astin Martin DB5 and investigates. He lingers in Miami with Goldfinger's secretary (Shirley Eaton) and later finds her suffocated in a coat of gold paint.
Goldfinger's karate expert pilot Pussy Galore (former Avengers TV star Honor Blackman) fights then joins Bond. He saves the gold supply after surviving a possible laser beam castration and electrocuting Asian hatchetman Oddjob (Harold Sakata with a steel-brimmed derby). Goldfinger ends up sucked through a hole in a jet airplane.
John Barry wrote the score highlighted by Shirley Bassey singing the great hit-single theme song. The first two Bond movies were rereleased and 'The Man from U.N.C.L.E.' carried the whole idea (minus the sex) to new extremes on television.
