Up for sale is an amazing and finely carved jadeite carving from a collection of jade items. This piece was likely carved from a jade pebble with a caramel brown skin. It has an openwork design, beneath the carving of the skin is a hollow area surrounding the oval sphere in the center, which reminds me of an eggshell carving.  The design includes a beautifully carved monkey, vines, fruits, and coins. This piece doesn't have a hole specifically for a pendant, but it can be made into one. However, because it is so delicately carved, I would recommend it as an incredible display piece or objet d'art. The piece weighs 20.2 grams and measures 4.3 cm by 2.1 cm.
