Cover looks great; a few creases, light-scuffing and some surface impressions (front/back); sticker residue on front shrink wrap and shrink has torn at bottom right corner of front. Inner-sleeve is original (Atlantic logo). Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Little shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and a few divots. Love Is in the Air, by John Paul Young, reached the top 40 on the Australian albums chart. European chart success for Love Is in the Air included, No. 2 in Norway and Sweden, No. 3 in Austria and Germany, No. 5 in Switzerland and No. 9 in the Netherlands. The title song peaked at No. 2 in South Africa. As a result of his popularity in Australia Young was crowned 'King of Pop' in October 1978. In the United States, the single Love Is In the Air peaked at No. 7 on the pop chart and spent two weeks at No. 1 on the adult contemporary chart, his only US top 40 hit. Young performed the song at the Closing Ceremony of the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney. The song is regularly sung at football matches by supporters of Dundee United, who have adopted it as an unofficial anthem for their club. Subsequent single, The Day that My Heart Caught Fire peaked in the top 20.
