When you buy from a small mom and pop business, you are not helping a CEO buy a third vacation home. You are helping a little girl get dance lessons, a little boy get his team jersey, a mom or dad put food on the table, a family pay a mortgage or a student pay for college. Our customers are our shareholders and they are the ones we strive to make happy. Thank-you for supporting your local Small Businesses! Unknown
You are considering the Pentax Takumar-A 70-210mm f/4 Macro telephoto zoom lens pictured. It shows only slight signs of use and I am very comfortable calling it near mint. Absolutely no dents, dings or scratches that I can see and just a few light paint rubs on the focus ring and not much else. The glass is clean and clear. The aperture blades are oil-free and snappy. The f/stop ring clicks positively. The focus/zoom action is silky-smooth (but it does have the very common zoom-creep that this model is known for. It's an easy fix with a narrow strip of gaff tape along the underside of the barrel. All is now well) and barrel is darn close to spotless. Very nice indeed. I do see a very light ding at the filter thread but it has no adverse effect installing filters. In fact, I will include a FREE UV filter to prove it! :)
Features of this lens include the venerable Pentax K mount, a fast, maximum aperture of f/4, rugged, all-metal construction for a very luxurious feel when held/used, a Macro mode for great close-ups, a filter size of 58 mm and more.
This lens will work perfectly with all Pentax K Mount 35mm SLR cameras (such as the K1000, ME, ME Super, LX, all of the P series cameras and also Ricoh 35mm SLR cameras). It will also work perfectly with all Pentax digital SLR cameras too, in manual focus mode of course.
If you have been wanting to take the next step up (is there any other way to go?!), you should consider this lens. It is tack-sharp, quick focusing and just a pleasure to use. I'm asking $55 for this keeper. Both caps are included.
