More contemporary 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy copy photograph (not a vintage original photo printed at the time it was taken) from the classic 1960's/'70's sci-fi television series, LAND OF THE GIANTS, in which a spaceship from Earth crash-lands on an Earth-like planet on which everything, including the human-like inhabitants, is twelve times the size of its counterpart on Earth.

The image features an interior publicity shot of actress Francine York, who portrayed "Dr. North" during the 1970 season only. She is depicted wearing a mini-dress and white shoes while posing next to a ruler that is truly larger than life. This photograph was inscribed in blue Sharpie by Francine York to Eric Caidin, the former owner of the former Hollywood Book and Poster Company on Hollywood Boulevard, as follows: "To Eric - Dr. North - Land of the Giants - Luv ya always - Francine York."  This inscribed copy photograph is in very fine condition witha 1 in. diagonal crease on the top right corner. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws.

At the time of its debut, Land of the Giants was the most expensive show produced on television. The props used in this show, (such as the computers and guns) also were used in Lost in Space (1965), The Time Tunnel (1966), Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (1964), and Batman (1966).
