BEN CASEY:  A RAGE FOR JUSTICE by Norman Daniels         Lancer Books, Original Paperback, 1962 - VG+ to NF                 DR. KILDARE by Robert C. Ackworth                                          Lancer Books, Original Paperback, 1962 - Good                                                                                                                             In the early '60s, many Americans were seeing two doctors a week - on tv, that is.  There was the veteran Dr. Kildare (the character goes back to the 1930s) and the new doc in town, Ben Casey.  These are the tv tie-in original paperbacks published in 1962 when both shows debuted.  CASEY  comes off best, with two tiny cover corner clips and some other minor wear; inside covers and pages have some darkening/toning, but the binding is tight (perhaps unread).  As a bonus, the fold-out 7x10" pin-up of actor Vince Edwards is still intact in the book.  Richard Chamberlain is pictured on the covers of KILDARE.  It has an open lower spine tear, as well as another short tear, cover creasing (& on front page corners) , modest edge/corner wear and small writing on the first page, plus light page toning. (Dr. K is showing his age.)
