Today I am reluctantly offering the Nikon AF 105mm f/2.8 Micro-Nikkor Telephoto Macro lens pictured. I bought this lens brand new 6 or 7 years ago from B&H in NYC. The condition of this example is near mint. About the only evidence of use is some minor rubbing on the stainless steel lens mount from mounting the lens on various Nikon cameras that I have owned over the last few years. B. Moose Peterson had this to say:

" The AF 105mm f/2.8D Micro-Nikkor seems destined to join the ranks of the great micros. It has a length of 4.2 inches (10.7 cm), an aperture range from f/2.8 to f/32, meter coupling, a filter size of 52mm, an angle of view of 23.2 degrees, and a weight of 22.3 oz. (632 g). It is a big lens when compared to the manual 105mm f/2.8 Micro. But unlike the manual version, it can focus to 1:1 without extension tubes. It employs the same moving element system as the 60mm Micro, so its overall length barely changes. Be aware that the lens is not "flat field" through CRC. Its flat-field qualities are inherent in its optical design. The working distance between the lens and the subject at 1:1 magnification is 5.4 inches (13.6 cm), which is less that with the 105mm f/2.8 manual at the same magnification. The 105mm f/2.8D AF has the same "A" and "M" switch, aperture lock, and limit switch as the 60mm Micro. The popularity of the 105mm seems to constantly grow, making it difficult to find on occasion."

I guess that says it all. I can only add that I have priced this super-sharp lens below fair-market-value at $389 in order to get it sold quickly. Go ahead and buy it. This bad-boy would make a great holiday gift! Both caps are included.
