Mefix Adhesive Non-woven Polyester Retention Tape

Mefix is an apertured, non-woven polyester fabric backed with a layer of an acrylic adhesive, and is protected on the roll by a  paper backing. Mefix has a degree of lateral stretch and conformability, with high tensile strength and must be cut with scissors.

Mefix is an ideal tape for the retention of dressings.   The polyester fabric adheres well and may be left in position for prolonged periods, if required.

Cut to the required length and shape,-peel off backing paper and apply.  If used over a joint, it is recommended that Mefix be orientated so that the direction of maximum extensibility of the fabric coincides with the direction of movement of the limb.
