----- Description of Item
-----
My photos always show the actual item or items that you will get,
because I never use "stock photos."
----- Condition -----
My standard disclaimer about vinyl: As with all used vinyl records (even brand new ones), at
least some pops, clicks and other surface noise are likely, so do not
expect flawlessly pristine CD sound quality. I grade records on the
following scale: Like New, Very Good (some flaws but nothing major),
Good (more noticeable flaws, but still acceptable), Fair (looking
pretty bad, but not a total disaster) and Poor (really bad with major
defects).
SPECIFIC DETAILS ABOUT THIS RECORD: This 1957 LP by folk legend Pete Seeger is a must have. Titled "Pete Seeger Sings American Ballads," it is a collection of Pete at his best. 14 tracks in all. Tracks include: Pretty Polly, The Three Butchers, John Henry, John Hardy and more. Sung by Peter Seeger with a five string banjo. Custom molded by Plastylite! Includes lyrics booklet that looks like it's never been handled. The album itself looks good with no scratches, but I don't have a record player so I don't know how it sounds when playing. Plain white sleeve (slightly discolored from age) appears original with only slight crimping. Jacket looks very good with no rips or marks and just very very slight impression. It reads: Folkways Records FA 2319. A really nice collectible.
Overall condition: Good.
Jacket: Very Good
Record: Good.
Labels: Good.
Inner sleeve: Looks original, slight crimping.
A fun collectible!
Another great auction, from a pet-free, smoke-free home!
----- Shipping -----
Flat $3.99 shipping (in sturdy cardboard record mailer) for Media Mail
with Delivery Confirmation to any United States address.
I:
INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: adds
a substantial premium to the cost of international shipping as part of
their Global Shipping service. None of that extra money goes to me. I
only get exactly the same shipping amount that a US bidder would pay,
and all of the rest goes to. So don't blame me if's shipping
prices to other countries are high, because I have absolutely no
control over them! ALSO:'s Global Shipping
Program is the only method that I use to ship to international
bidders. So whatever price's shipping calculator lists is how
much shipping will cost you, there are no other alternatives.
Bid early and bid often!
