This is a great photograph of Victoria Manalo Draves, a Filipino-American driver who overcame ethnic prejudice early in her career to become the first woman to be awarded gold medals for both 3 meter springboard and 10 meter platform in the same Olympics, in 1948. In October 2006, a  2 acre park (1 acre each per gold medal) in San Francisco was named Victoria Manalo Draves Park in her honor. She died on April 11, 2010 in Palm Springs at the age of 85 from pancreatic cancer aggravated by pneumonia.
