4cent Lincoln postage stamp with a postal cancelation mark from Fort Lauderdale,
dated Sept 4, 1967
The front of this real photo postcard features a catamaran sailboat and the words:
"Florida! Americas Playground!"
There is a white box below that had the Ham Radio Operator's information printed in red. which reads;
WB4FFT Albert J. Niner, 381 N. W. 35 Street,Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33309
The back address side features all the standard QSO information, a handwritten note thanking Whitey for the "patch" and signed "Al" and at the bottom, partially obscured by the handwritten message reads:
Courtesy of the Florida Power and Light Co.
part of a year round program "Helping Build Florida"
CONDITION: Very good condition. No pin holes, rips, tears or creases. There is a small black smudge on the front, right at the letter "A" in Florida, below the exclamation point, and through the letter "F" which is probably a smudge from the cancelation stamp that appears on the backside.
Only minor wear to the very edges and at corners The front features the Ham Radio Operator Call letters (see photos) The light blue border around the scan of the backside is not a part of this postcard, we used blue paper when scanning to better define the edges of the white backside of this postcard.
The 4c Lincoln postage stamp appears to be in Very Good condition, complete, not torn or smudged, the cancelation marks are only across the top portion.
