Have you ever used a lotion bar? You rub the bar between your hands, it slowly melts and you can rub it in. It contains a lot of bees wax which puts a protection on your skin that doesn't wash off as quickly as a lot of lotions might. It's very nice if you are working in water or outside or just simply have very dry skin. It's also great for heals, elbows and knees. For more delicate skin I would recommend the GENTLE FRIEND or TLC Balm simply because of the application method.
I have sold MANY of these to happy customers. But some folk are repelled by the smell of lanolin or bees wax. If you are one of these folks please don't buy the Jewel Lotion Bar! I think the Spice or Peppermint scents cover up the base smell better than the Lemon. I use these ingredients because I feel they are very important, and so helpful for a lot of us with problem skin.
If you use the lotion bar and are disturbed because it feels "sticky", stop rubbing, ordinarily the sticky feel soon disappears!
Because this is an all natural product people with sensitive skin are usually fine with it. Those with skin issues such as eczema, psoriasis, etc. may also benefit by using it.
The goat on the label is my little Jewel goat. Even though her picture is on the label there is no goat milk in the lotion bars. To put milk in lotion I would need to use yucky preservatives which is something I will not do.
Want to Save a couple dollars? If you want to reuse your lotion bar jar you need only purchas the lotion bar refills. The refill is the exact same thing as what is in the jar but will be wrapped in a fabric instead of being in a jar. Keep in mind shipping refills may not be a good idea in hot weather. They will melt, although they don't puddle very fast.
