Set of four 10” Majolica shallow bowls handcrafted and hand-painted by Zanardello Pottery in Italy. They are clearly embossed and marked. They are designed to resemble a cabbage leaf, featuring a reddish/pink outer edge and a yellow center, with detailed leaves.
Each piece is handmade, making it unique. Fato a mano means hand made.
• Majolica ware is known for its colorful, glazed finish.
• Cabbage leaf designs are a common motif in Majolica pottery.
There are a few minor flaws where the paint has flaked off, as shown in the photos.
They are heavy. Each piece weighs a little over 1 1/2 pounds.
They are in good vintage condition with small imperfections consistent with age and use.
I pack all fragile items in double or heavy duty boxes and use lots of bubble wrap. This sometimes increases shipping fees but I want your item to arrive safely.
