Your bid is for two beautiful, kiln dried, White Ash bowl blanks.  Blanks measure approximately 8" X 8" X 3".   Will make a very nice bowl, platter, or carving.  Beautiful grain and color.  Kiln dried and ready to finish turn.  Good clean Ash has become very hard to find due to the Emerald Ash Borer which has destroyed most of the White Ash trees.  This wood was harvested from live Ash trees which had not been affected by the beetle.  Great quality wood!  Get these while they are still available.  When they are gone we will not be able to get more.  See below.  A great value for the wood shop.

White Ash will soon become a very rare wood due to the Emerald Ash Borer; an invasive pest that has decimated the White Ash Population.  This pest bores between the bark and wood.  Birds then aggressively peck at the bark to get to the insect.  This quickly kills the tree.  Fortunately this pest does not bore into the lumber of the tree making the wood still usable as long as the tree is harvested in a short time.
