New England Aster (Symphyotrichum novae-angliae), also known as Michaelmas Daisy, is a beautiful perennial herbaceous plant that adds vibrant color to gardens in late summer and fall. Beautiful violet flowers that grow in a clumping habit that can grow several feet wide and reaching up to six feet tall. Stout stems with thin leaves, low maintenance once established. Great as a late season bloomer, able to add color in the garden and food for pollinators when it can be scarce.
