The Mutual Dairy Association had a large ad in 1909 titled The "400 Milk" with a large cow imaged. Direct from producer to consumer 13 quarts, 23 pints tickets for $1. At some point they must have converted to using these tokens.

The token is made of aluminum and measures 30mm in diameter.
