Set of 4 Vintage 1945 Price Kensington Cottage Ware Saucers England 5.5".  Approximate measurements are:  1/2" Tall x 7" D at top x 3 1/2" D at bottom.  The bottom of each says- Price, Made in England, Cottage Ware, Reg No. 845007. Cottage Ware is also referred to as Ye Ole Cottage, Porcelain finished with a Glaze & was produced Circa 1940's.  Cottage Ware Pottery gets its name from being shaped like Classic Thatched-Roof Cottages.  Cottage Ware was most popular during the 40's. These Side Cake Plates are white, rust, yellow & brown- they look like a cobblestone road & 3 trees.  Hand wash is recommended for Care instructions.  Condition is preowned with no chips or cracks.  There is crazing on top & bottom of all.  One of the plates has a spot on top.  There are scuffs, scratches & utensil marks due to age, use & love.  Because these are hand painted, they may all be slightly different.
