#MARAZKA
A very petite, very dwarf Bee Balm that forms a lovely carpet of the most vibrant red flowers seen in dwarf varieties; The compact size is perfect for smaller landscapes and containers. Note: The plants themselves are quite compact and small in their 2.5" pot, due to naturally being a dwarf variety. Herbaceous perennial, zones 4-8.
'Fireball' Monarda will form a clump roughly 12-15" tall and 18-20" wide within two growing seasons with proper care. A favorite of mine for the front of the border, along paths and mixed in with smaller Summer blooming bulbs that can poke through, or tucked in between shrubs and roses, or at the feet of contrasting vines such as purple and bicolor Clematis or Trumpet Vines. Throw in some filler flowers like pink Baby's Breath, Cosmos and Mallows and you've got one stunning flower patch!
Full to Partial Sun; Keep soil moist but not overly soggy; does not like extended periods of drought. Blooms throughout the Summer. Deadhead to keep a tidy appearance and encourage faster reblooming. Hard prune old foliage annually, before new growth emerges in Spring.
