Vinyl plays nicely; a few light hairlines (play-graded). Cover looks great; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing, slight discoloration with darker discoloration spots, wear near notch, and surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (artwork/lyrics/credits); two seams partially split. Spine is mostly easy-to-read with wear. Shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Awakening was the first of two 1979 releases from drummer/songwriter/producer Narada Michael Walden, and featured him writing all the songs. This was his third full-length studio release. He co-produced each track with someone else. Two singles were released from the album: I Don't Want Nobody Else peaked at No. 9 on the R&B Chart and No. 47 on the Hot 100; and Give Your Love A Chance reached No. 80 on the R&B Chart.
