Repa Market Vincent Polyline series waterproofing products. - Pipe Seal Waterproofing 101: Concrete / cement-based surfaces must be intact, clean, free from water dust and dirt. Before applying the waterproofing, the surface must be primed with a waterproofing primer. - Polymer Waterproofing products can be applied with a brush, roller or sprayed with compressed air on a pre-prepared surface in two layers. It is recommended to work each of the layers in separate directions. The second layer is processed only when the first layer has dried and it can be touched freely, or within 24 hours after the first round of processing. - A thin layer of cement based product must be applied on the pre-pared surface with a putty by a trowel. Apply the next cement based product layer so that the total thickness of the layer is at least 2 mm. Fiberglass mesh is recommended to be used in cases where it is necessary to create waterproofing microcracked surfaces or on the above prestressed structures. After fiberglass mesh installation press in the first layer, align this layer with trowel as soon as possible. To fully cover fiberglass mesh, apply a second waterproofing round. A second layer of waterproofing may be applied only when the previous has dried (after 4-5 hours). All unstable surfaces (cracks, deformation joints, corners, vertical surfaces, floor and wall joints) must be reinforced with waterproofing tape "Hidro Tape", a suitable polyester or fiberglass cloth sieve which needs to be inserted between two layers of liquid waterproofing membrane. The waterproofing layer application must be protected from aggressive mechanical effects. Tests for watertightness are not suggested no earlier than 4 days after the installation.
