Each piece unique

Wood lives, and you can see that too. Each article has its own color spectrum, hard or soft color change, branch holes, cracks, notches or the like. These small differences make every single article unique and create a natural, original atmosphere. Deviations of the specified dimensions are possible. These deviations are not a reason for complaint. The shape of the individual items (especially with Root Wood ) can also fluctuate strongly, please keep in mind when ordering.

Please note that wood is a living material. Especially in the cold season, we recommend that you have the piece of furniture acclimatized for a few days before setting up at the destination in a slightly warmed room (e.g. bedroom). This reduces the risk of cracks in the wood. Particularly dry air (e.g. in fireplace-heated rooms) can lead to cracks in the wood. The optimal room humidity for solid wood is around 60%. 

Wood basically continues to work, or begins again when introduced into a new "climate zone". Even items that have been in our store or warehouse for years can, for example, develop cracks in the new location as they adapt to new conditions. This simply cannot be avoided and is a natural peculiarity of items that are made from a single piece. Such cracks generally do not affect the structure of the item and do not constitute a reason for complaint. We ask you to take this into account when placing your order.
