Description
This is an adorable vintage 50's day dress with chic assymetrical details.
Vintage label: Annetta New York.
No size marked. 37" bust. Possibly a modern M.
Please check measurements given to best predict fit.
Cotton.
Brown and white.
Scoop neckline.
Brown and white stripe fabric trim.
Fitted crossover bodice with brown buttons/snap on the left side.
Bust and waist darts.
Shoulders extend to a short cap sleeve effect.
Waist seam.
Original belt missing. I have replaced with a ribbon, but I'm sure a brown or ivory leather belt would be easy to source if preferred.
Skirt flares to fullness at hem.
Inverted box pleat on left side of skirt, with a contrast triangular inset of the white and brown stripe.
Button and bow detail down the stripe panel. So cute!
Right side seam pocket.
Side metal zipper.
Pinked seams.
Unlined.
In exceptionally nice vintage condition. No damage. No stains, no holes or tears, no odors. It's sound and wearable.
Please note: original belt missing. I have replaced with a ribbon, but it would cute with a brown lor ivory leather belt. Or, I think it would be perfectly cute without a belt.
From a smoke-free home.
