This is a nice vintage figural statue art pottery faience dog (see photos). The item is marked by the maker for Meiselman Imports and Italy (see photos). The item is made of pottery with a glazed painted finish (see photos). The dog looks to be a Yorkie Yorkshire Terrier to me (see photos and determine the breed of dog depicted). The item has an interesting design and a colorful glazed finish (see photos). The dog is marked by the maker on the underside of the foot. The item's origin is Italian (see photos and decide the age, the origin and the maker). The dog has a broken foot and some chips and some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). The dog statue in total measures about 1 foot high and it is about 11 inches wide. This is a nice dog statue to add to your collection.
