DESCRIPTION:
This is a nice large vintage metal art wall plaque nautical sculpture. The item is made of metal and looks to be iron and brass or brass toned metal (see photos). The items have a nice vintage Mid Century Modern Art style (see photos). The art sculpture is in the form of a large sailing ship (see photos). The item is from a nice estate. This is a vintage metal art sculpture (see photos). The items look it might be American in origin to me (see photos). The item is not signed or marked by a maker. The item looks similar to Curtis Jere items that we have sold in the past. This large sculpture measures in total about 48 inches high to the highest mast top and it is about 57 inches wide. The item has one weld that has become unattached (see photos). The sculpture has some scuffs, some bends to the metal, some finish losses and some signs of wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). This is a nice decorative nautical themed large ship metal art sculpture. A nice work of art with a Modernism Mid Century style for your collection.
