Description



This is a beautiful antique Victorian-era nightgown.
Size S / XS
White cotton.
Square neck.
Sheer lace yoke front and back with crochet-type lace trim.
Cap sleeves with pintucks and scalloped lace trim.
Flared to hem.
Hem has a border of pintucks, and lace trim.
CONDITION
This beautiful gown shows evidence of past wear, which has been ingeniously and neatly mended.
At one underarm, there has been an extra layer of matching fabric added to reinforce repairs.
There are a few small darns about 1/2" wide. Also, I do see a few pinholes.
Overall, though, the gown is lovely and sound enough to wear with care.
