Vtg Saginaw Auditorium Michigan Very RARE Brass Seat Number Tag 170 Historical
111 years old! Wow!
This is a very rare brass seat tag from the historical Saginaw Auditorium in Saginaw Michigan.
Located at 235 South Washington Avenue.
It was built in 1908 and closed in 1972.
It had a seating capacity of 3,000.
I have been searching for items from the Auditorium and other than postcards from the era I’ve only found one other item.... a dedicatory program from its opening.
At the beginning of the 20th century / early 1900s... Saginaw had several thriving hotels, opera houses, this auditorium and other stately buildings, that comprised its incredible landscape of homes & buildings displaying the opulence brought about by the rich lumbering era...... these places drew people from around the country and globe!
This is a tid bit from days gone by but not forgotten in history!
I’m hoping this goes to someone that collects to preserve our rich history.
I have included some photos of the Auditorium here in the listing.
They are for reference only and I do not own them.
