"Reliquiae Hearnianae" is a collection of extracts from the diaries of Thomas Hearne (1678–1735), an English antiquary. Edited by Philip Bliss and first published in 1857.  This is the second, and expanded 1869 edition, it offers insights into Hearne’s life, medieval society and Oxford University in 17th–18th-century England. A key resource for historians, it reflects his scholarly and personal observations – quite the Capture of Tyme indeed; a very distinctive trio.
