Starting at the time of purchase, it will be covered by a warranty against hardware failures for 1 year. The battery has been tested and is guaranteed to last for at least 3 hours of continuous use at the time this laptop was tested. Batteries degrade over time and they are not covered under the warranty. The BIOS battery has been replaced and fresh thermal paste has been applied to the CPU.
