This is an outstanding piece of Mexican spiritual folk art imported from the Huichol tribe of Nayarit, Mexico. It is a fascinating Uwemi shaman’s chair made from cane and straw adorned with dozens of ribbons and special offerings, including clay effigy pots, beaded god’s eyes and prayer staffs. A smaller version of the traditional Uwemi, this is a chair for the spirits and elements.
