White Flowering Dandelion is native to Japan/East Asia. Blooms constantly from Spring until Frost.
Vigorous plants with deep green leaves. Attractive for butterflies and other pollinators. Suitable for natural landscaping. Use for low maintenance plantings.
Suitable for pot and planter. Easy to grow. The white Dandelion, like the common golden colored Dandelion, would make interesting wines, use the leaves in salads; all parts of the plant are medicinal.
Hardy to zones 3 and above, and fairly easy to grow in most climates.
Seeds germinate at room temperature within a couple of weeks with no pre-treatment required. Seeds can be sown at any time and it is approximately 40-60 days from seed to flower in Spring growing conditions.
