BAKELITE HANDLE TOMATO AND STEAK KNIVE


This small bakelite handle knife still has its original cardboard sleeve. The sleeve reads in part: Tomato and Steak knife, Henrys Original, Henry Fox Sales Distributer, Atlantic City NJ. The cardboard sleave does have fading, discoloration, foxing, and wear. The blade of the knife also has some minor wear, the serrated blade curves slightly and measures approximately 1/4 inch wide. The handle is in the butterscotch color. The overall length of the knife is approximately 9 inches. I would put the age of this one from the 1930s - 1940s. This one could actually be used if desired.
