There are elastic gathers on the sides. 

This measures 36" at the chest 

(measuring just under the arm seams), 

and 29" from top to bottom. 

The sleeves measure 24" from 

shoulder seam to end of sleeve

(my own humble measurements). 

This fabulous shirt is made of 

a cotton blend, 

and it is 

machine washable.
